Kudla is a Mangalorean style restaurant in RT Nagar, Bangalore. It is the restaurant of the Hotel Coral Tree. It is a decent middle class restaurant; however, the food costs like a 5-star hotel. So, it is very rarely that we go to this restaurant as we feel that it is not value for money.
In the same complex, there is a Kebab Studio. We like the Kebab Studio and visit it more often. However, the Kebab Studio is also a restaurant on the expensive side.
We last visited Kudla on 26-Apr-2019. We actually wanted to go the Kebab Studio. However, it was under renovation. So, we had dinner at Kudla.
The food in Kudla is routine. However, there is a Mangalorean flavour. What my younger daughter, Ranoo, likes is the Tawa Fry of Pomfret Fish. The Pomfret Fishes are displayed. When we make a choice, the waiters weigh the fish and charge per gram.
We ordered a Pomfret Tawa Fry for a Pomfret Fish weighing about 1.1 Kg.
We wanted to have Butter Naan and some curry. However, Butter Naan was not available. So, we had to order Rotis.
As the curry was sweet and Deepshree does not take any sweets, we ordered a Paneer dish and told the Chef not to add any sugar.
There is a Bar in Kudla. However, we did not order any Hard Drinks.
However, Riya ordered a Mocktail and I ordered a Watermelon Juice.
