Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary

Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary is about 15 KM from Mysore town, close to Srirangapatna. There are lots os varieties of Birds one can see here, especially during the season. Also, there are lots of Crocodiles here. One can get very close to these Crocodiles.

We last visited Ranganathittu on 25-Feb-2019 on our way back from Mysore to Bangalore. We reached Ranganathittu at around 10:00 AM.

There is an entrance ticket of Rs. 70 per person at the Main Gate.

There is ample parking place at Ranganathittu. We parked our car and walked through the Gardens.

There is a huge lake in Ranganathittu. And there is boating service in the lake. We walked down to the Boating Station.

The Boats here are only paddled by authorised staff as there are Crocodiles in the Lake.

There is a charge of Rs. 100 per person for Boating.

Am basically a programmer. Have proved to myself and quite a few people over the 24+ years that I am capable of programming on most platforms using quite a few tools for most problems. However, to be viable for earning a living, have learnt a few tricks and techniques of management. Whatever management techniques I have learnt, I try and convert to simple logic flows to keep my decision process simple and transparent.
